Let’s Find Out is a local history podcast I produce. Each episode, we take questions from curious Edmontonians. Then we find out the answers together.

In this episode, Rebecca Jade asked whether we could put a plaque up where the KKK used to publish a newspaper in Edmonton – The Liberator. Along the way we learned about the mayor and premier who lent support to the KKK, a fiery picnic, and what the point of a plaque is anyway. The Edmonton Historical Board’s Barbara Hilden helped us figure out whether a plaque would be possible.
